GAME ONE: WARSAW 71 BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 58
GAME TWO: WARSAW 74 LAFAYETTE JEFFERSON 63
The Tigers won both games in their own classic on Wednesday. In game one, Nic Moore poured in 31 points while Andy Conrad was also in double figures with 10 points while also grabbing 5 rebounds. Lucas Grose added 8 points and led the rebounding effort with 7 boards.
In the nightcap, the Tigers were led by Grose who scored 28 points and hauled in 9 rebounds. Moore scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 8 assists. Jordyn Coon was also in double figures with 12 points and also had 7 rebounds. Grose and Moore were named to the all-classic team.
The Tigers will travel to Purdue University’s Mackey Arena on Saturday, Jan. 2 to play Noblesville in the annual Super Hoops Classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:15 pm.
JR. VARSITY
GAME ONE: WARSAW 40 BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 32
GAME TWO: WARSAW 56 LAFAYETTE JEFFERSON 53
The Tiger jr. varsity won both games on Wednesday. In the win over Blackhawk Christian, Rhett Kesler led the scoring with 14 points while Clay Anderson was also in double figures with 12 points. Jay Holladay dished out 6 assists. In game two, Anderson led the way with 16 points. Kesler scored 14 points as well as dishing out 5 assists. Holladay and Brock Anson had 6 rebounds each.
