The Warsaw Tigers Wrestling team is taking part in the IHSAA Sectional at Plymouth today. Also, the Tiger boys swimming NLC championships are going on at Northridge High School in Middlebury.
The Lady Tigers girls’ basketball teams will battle it out tonight for the NLC crown. The girls take on Northwood at home. Game time is 6:15 p.m.

The Warsaw Tigers remained unbeaten in the NLC with the win over the Panthers in Nappanee Friday night.
Nic Moore hit the 1,000 point mark for his career and led the Tigers with 20 points while dishing out 4 assists. Lucas Grose scored 9 points while hauling down 9 rebounds. Justin Clemens also scored 9 points and Jordyn Coon scored 8 points, had 5 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds.
In the JV win, Jay Holladay scored 11 points while Clay Anderson added 9
points and had 8 rebounds. Both teams will travel to Elkhart Memorial next Friday night before returning home on Saturday to face the Marion Giants.
Wawasee falls to Concord, JV earns a win

The Wawasee varsity Warriors fell 10 points short to the Concord Minutemen in Friday night’s game at Wawasee. Leading the Warriors in double digits were Riley Stichter and Jacon Thompson who both netted 17 points, and Keegan Beer added 11 points.
The JV Warriors hauled down just one point to claim victory in their game.
The Wawasee varsity boys are now 6-6 in the season and 2-3 in the conference.

Police in Whitley County have returned to the site where the body of a male was located shortly before 4 p.m. Friday.
An autopsy is planned for early in the week but today investigators say they will try to obtain the man’s identity from finger prints and combine them with photos of tattos in an effort to identify the victim.

Ethel A. Bolinger, 86, of P.O. Box 27, Atwood, Indiana 46502, died on Jan. 27, 2010 at 4:10 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1923 in Kosciusko County.
She was born to Glen and Edna Sensibaugh. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. On March 14, 1942, she married John Bolinger in Kosciusko County. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2008.

The Kosciusko County Shrine Club recently made a donation to the Kosciusko Community YMCA to be used in support of need-based scholarships. Scholarship funding is raised through donations from individuals and companies as part of the annual Strong Kids Campaign. 
City council cancels meeting

The regular meeting of the Warsaw Common Council set for 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, has been cancelled due to a lack of business.
The next regular meeting is planned for Monday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. All meetings are held in the council chambers on Market Street and are open to the public.
Bill Sunday collection gets new home

Grace College and Theological Seminary announced Thursday that the Billy Sunday Visitor’s Center collection will move to a new home in the Reneker Museum of Winona History, located in Westminster Hall of Grace College.
The building that previously housed the visitor’s center will be occupied by The Remnant Trust, a public educational foundation that archives and preserves rare historical documents. This priceless collection of antiquities is loaned to colleges, universities, and other institutions for display and research by students, faculty, scholars, and the general public.
