GIRLS BASKETBALL
Varsity: PENN 45 WARSAW 42
JV: WARSAW 35 PENN 27
The Tigers fell to No. 12 Penn at home on Wednesday night, but two Lady Tigers had double-digit performances including Sarah Shilling, who scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and Kayla Stout, scoring 13 points and
hauling down 10 boards.
Lindsay Baker scored 9 points while taking in 8 rebounds. Kelci Freds dished out 6 assists in the game.
The JV win was led by Sarah Heagy with 12 points. Jennifer Walker-Crawford scored 10 points while getting 6 rebounds as well as
recording 3 steals on defense. Lauren Burish had 5 assists and Madison
Davis also had 3 steals.
The Lady Tigers will host Concord on Saturday evening.
FRESHMAN BOYS BASKETBALL
WARSAW 32 CARROLL 30
The Tigers defeated the Chargers in Fort Wayne on Wednesday night.
Jared Bloom scored 11 points whlle Tim Ahlersmeyer contributed 9 points.
John Swanson and Taylor Cone each scored 6 points while Mitchell Hall
grabbed 5 rebounds.
The Tigers return to action on Thursday hosting Northwood at 6:15 pm.
JV BOYS BASKETBALL
The JV boys basketball team played at Carroll on Wednesday night. No
information was available.
