Fire fighters from North Webster, Leesburg/Plain Township, Syracuse and Pierceton were called to battle a house fire on Lake Tippecanoe this morning.
The initial call went out right around 8:30 a.m. today. Neighbors reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the home at 30 EMS T41 Lane. An ambulance was called and reportedly took one person to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment from burns. There is no word yet on how serious the individual was hurt or if that person was in the home when the fire started.
Fire fighters on scene said an addition to the home was completely destroyed and it appears the main house will also be ruled a total loss.
