    A 35-year-old Warsaw man was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail today on a felony charge of possessing child pornography.
     Jason Albert Stone of East Lake Tahoe Trail, is officially charged with child exploitation. He turned himself in to police this morning following an investigation that began on Feb. 4.
     According to detectives of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Stone’s wife came to police after finding pornographic sites her husband had frequented on the Internet. She said she became suspicious of Stone due to his changing and erratic behavior and the fact that their home computers were being infected with viruses and he would forbid her from getting them fixed.
     After she sought assistance from a local computer store to track Stone’s useage, she consulted an attorney and turned the information over to police.
     KCSD Detective Josh Spangle obtained a search warrant for the Stone’s home and executed it on Feb. 8. Police removed two safes from the home. Inside, they located approximately 266 images individually printed on photo paper. The images, according to Spangle, depicted sexual conduct of children appearing to be less than 16 years old. The safes also contained 26 DVDs of child pornography, and DVDs and VHS tapes of both adult and child pornographic content and beastiality.
     Police also located a passport for Stone, two Texas driver’s licenses, a Michigan temporary license and 29 miscellaenous credit cards.
     Stone’s wife successfully obtained a protective order and has filed for a divorce. At the time Stone was booked into the jail at 8:24 a.m. today, he reported being an employee of  Zimmer. He immediately posted the $20,000 bond.
