An accident at around 9:30 p.m. Monday was likely the result of an intoxicated driver.
According to authorities on scene at Levi Lee Road and CR 100 East south of Leesburg, the driver apparently was eastbound on Levi Lee Road and failed to stop at CR 100E. The driver of a white mini van drove off the east side of CR 100E and crashed in a wooded area.
The male occupant was treated at the scene by Multi-Township EMS medics. Indiana State Police is working the accident and will have more information later.
