From the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department:
* On March 8, Bill Click was notified by his bank that a bad check had been written from his account. The victim said the check was from an old account and had been forged. The matter is under investigation.
* On March 3, Maurice McDaniel of Atwood reported a burglary from his pole barn. Forced entry was discovered. Several items were missing.
* On March 4, deputies investigated an unattended natural death in the 7800 block of East 800 South, South Whitley.
* James Sizemore of Pierceton Road reported a missing face plate from his vehicle’s CD player. A suspect was identified.
* A theft from a residence on South Canary Court, Mentone, was reported. Propane tanks, hoses and other miscellaneous items were stolen.
* An 18-year-old said he was bored so he drove his four-wheel SUV into a field at 250 South and Ferguson Road, Warsaw. The vehicle became stuck in the mud and caused damage to the field.
* Michael Gamble of Warsaw, came to the sheriff’s department to report he had hit a deer with his car while on his way to work on March 8.
From the Warsaw Police Department:
* On March 10 an intoxicated juvenile was reported to be sitting outside in front of Our Father’s House on Argonne Road.
* Pickerman’s, North Detroit Street, reported the theft of $298.
* A property damage crash to a car was reported to have occured in the Walmart parking lot.
