Violet H. Oyler, 101, of Kosciusko County, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Providence Nursing Home, New Albany, Ind.
She was born Sept. 5, 1908, in Milford, Ind., to Ernest and Lydia (Shively) Hull. On June 1, 1929, she married Ralph Oyler in Warsaw.
Mrs. Oyler is survived by two sons: Robert L. (Dolores) Oyler, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; Ray O. (Joyce) Oyler, New Albany, Ind.; five grandchildren: Cynthia Campbell, Stephen Oyler, Randall Oyler, Scott Oyler and Sandra Oyler; five great-grandchildren: Christina Goins, Melissa Goins, Lindsey, Elizabeth and Samuel; one brother: Robert E. (Frances) Hull, Beaumont, Calif., and a sister-in-law: Mary Belle Hull, Fort Meyers, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Oyler, who died Jan. 17, 1982; three brothers: Arden Hull, Max Hull, Stanley Hull, and a sister who was stillborn.
Visitation will be Friday, March 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service will be held Friday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Oakwood Cemtery, Warsaw.
