Caucus to fill Sidney Town Council seat

     Kosciusko County Republican Party Chairman Randall Girod has announced that a caucus will be held in Sidney next month to fill a vacancy left by town councilman Harold Lent who has submitted his resignation.
     The caucus of eligible Republican Precinct committeemen will be held Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Sidney Town Hall.
     Interested eligible candidates for the position must file a Declaration of Candidacy with Girod no later than 72 hours before the commencement of the caucus.
     Declaration of Candidacy forms (CEB-5) are now available from the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, Ind.
