North Webster’s 2nd annual Dixie Days celebration is now under way.
The event started Thursday and will continue through Saturday with sidewalk and garage sales throughout the town, musical entertainment, food vendors and more.
Tonight from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. catch the bluegrass jam in North Webster Town Park. The Chain Gang barbershop quartet will then perform immediately after the jam.
Live musical entertainment continues from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday in various locations. Among the performers will be Ivory West, Patrick Woods, Corey Drake, the Megan King Band and the Possum Trot Orchestra. The Beaters will play at the American Legion from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Don’t miss out on Saturday’s beer tent, a cornhole tournament, an art fair and antique sale, a 5K run, games and other activities. And, it wouldn’t be Dixie Days without something to do with the Dixie boat. Cruises will be offered Saturday at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
