This week’s crime of the week comes from the files of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
On Aug. 14, several home owners on East High Circle Drive, Warsaw, reported several vehicles broken into. An unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the vehicles removing cash and other personal items. One of the home owners reported the unknown suspect(s) threw paint containers inside a 2005 truck cab and on the hood splattering paint all over the interior causing an estimated $4,000 in damages.

On Aug. 1, Warsaw Police Department responded to a business burglary that occurred at Courthouse Coffee, 108 N. Buffalo St.
When the officer arrived at the scene, the victim reported that between July 31 and Aug. 1, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the business. Once inside, the suspect(s) took loose change from the office area and a safe containing an undisclosed amount of currency. An estimation of property damage was approximately $300.

This week’s crime of the week comes from the files of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
On Aug. 11, a residential burglary was reported from an address of 11325 N. Cedar Point Low Road, Syracuse.
The victim reported an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s boat house. Once inside, the unknown suspect(s) removed a 1914 bolt action WWI Mauser rifle, a Remington Model 11 12 gauge shotgun, a British Infield 303 Rifle, a Winchester US-M1 carbine rifle and a Marlin 1894 25-20 caliber rifle.
The suspect(s) also removed two electric hoists. An estimated value of loss property was over $8,000.
